Surgical Services
Skin cancer
Skin cancer accounts for more than half of all cases of cancer in the U.S., with more than 2 million people being diagnosed with basal and squamous cell skin cancer annually. An additional 75,000 develop melanomas—the most serious type—each year.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
Mohs surgery is among the most effective, most advanced skin cancer treatment available. Offering the highest treatment rates of any skin cancer therapy, Mohs is often utilized when other methods have failed to deliver results. Through this targeted procedure, skin cancer is removed layer by layer, examining tissue and repeating until healthy, cancer-free tissue is reached. Unlike other procedures, Mohs ensures skin cancer is completely removed during surgery, eliminating the chance of a recurrence.
